Moose grow new antlers every year. Sometime after mating season in the fall, male moose lose their handsome antlers. They look less than their majestic best during the winter and early spring.

One spring day in Wyoming, Toshimi Ichikawa found this moose with funny looking antlers starting to grow. He was embarrassed, too, and ran away.
