I paint commissioned pet portraits for people who love their dogs (or cats or horses) and enjoy my style. I usually work from photos and from verbal descriptions. We discuss colors and whether crazy colors should be applied to your animal, the background or both. I generally paint during the winter months. When show season starts in earnest in the summer, there is little time to concentrate on painting.

I currently charge $250 (plus applicable shipping and tax) for an 11" x 15.5" acrylic painting on watercolor paper matted and framed in a 16" x 20" metal frame. This charge applies if the painting occurs according to my schedule during the winter. I will charge extra if you wish to have it for your deadline at an overly hectic time of year. I maintain all copyrights to the painting and you must agree to let me use the image for any and all products of my choosing. Price will vary for larger dimensions, different format or number of animals.
